Today was amazing! Literally best day ever. I've never been sad or unhappy in my entire life!
One week after quitting my Boston job, I woke up at 4:50am to my roommate's alarm. He didn't hear it in his bedroom because he was sleeping on the couch (we don't know why).
Laying back in bed, I checked Instagram and saw my (ex) coworker's story posted from earlier that night. He had been at the office eating our classic getting-drunk-at-a-work-event-then-going-back-to-the-office-to-drink-more-meal: dumplings.
I replied. To my surprise, he responded immediately.

I was hungry.
So I did what any unemployed person would do for free food: got out of bed at 5am, drove to the office, downed a glass of tequila to catch up, and had some dumplings. We played mario kart, ping pong, and then at about 7am, ordered breakfast to the office.
All of that is to say dumplings are universally loved. They're loved in Chinatown for a Thursday evening dinner. They're loved at an office at 5am. And they're loved in Vienna, too, apparently.
